Merry Christmas!

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful time together. Put on some Bing Crosby or Frank Sinatra Christmas music. The Peace on Earth / Little Drummer Boy duet by Bing Crosby and David Bowie is fantastic.

I pray that your Christmas is Christ centered and that 2005 is a blessed year for you and your family.

Got a ticket to Bill Gates keynote address at CES!

I was able to get one of six tickets that Microsoft had available to them for Bill Gates’ keynote address. I am soooo pumped!

Tablet PC Community Meetup at CES!

Lora from WhatIsNew.com is organizing a Tablet PC meetup for those attending CES. This is going to be a blast. I'll be there and will look forward to meeting others. Signup at Lora's Blog or by emailing her via her blog.

"Good news! We're set for a time and location for a Tablet PC Community Meetup during CES. Microsoft is gracious enough to let us use its private suite for meetings.

Day: Saturday, January 8, 2005
Time: 10AM to 1PM
Refreshments and lunch will be served.

Of course, we'll have plenty to talk about after seeing all the Tablet PCs on the trade show floor. Those of you who are also looking for a giveaway will be pleased too. "

Next review: Motion Bluetooth keyboard

My next review on TabletPCBuzz.com will be on the Motion Bluetooth Keyboard. Nice keyboard, if I can keep it connected.

Made it to the playoffs!

Totally off-topic here, but I made it to the playoffs in 2 of my 3 fantasy football leagues. The one I was worried about the most was the TabletPCBuzz league. Several of us from TabletPCBuzz.com formed our own league.

Shooting for the championship!

Any of you play fantasy football? How did you do?

SpamBayes: Bayesian anti-spam classifier written in Python.

This is the best anti-spam product I've used yet. Or the average, I get 50-60 spams a day. After some initial training, only 1-2 are getting through. Best of all, its' free.

Electrovaya Scribber SC2100

Electrovaya sent me the Scribber SC2100 Tablet PC to review. I’ll be writing a review on TabletPCBuzz.com in about a week. Very light and great battery! I’ll also have some great pictures.

Concept X7

I’m currently reviewing Concept X7 and hope to have a review on TabletPCBuzz.com in a couple of weeks. All I can say right now is that the application looks very promising.

Well, I'm still waiting on the finalization of some legal stuff before we go live with the New King James Version on www.tabletbible.com . While I'm waiting on that, I'm doing some cleanup work and redoing some chapters that didn't format correctly.

I had hoped to go live on 12/1. As of right now, I'm hoping its' live by the end of the year.

Is 2005 the year?

I really feel like 2005 could be the year that tablet pc breaks through. Its' past the "what is that" phase and entering an area where people can begin to take it seriously. We are beginning to see price drops by vendors and Microsoft is talking about price drops on their end as well.

Its' been two years since the launch, and although sales have not been spectacular, the tablet pc has not gone away.

I think one of the best things that Microsoft could do is to offer a more ink-enabled version of Outlook and drop the premium on the tablet os.

We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm going to CES in January. Really looking forward to meeting the other tablet pc mvp's, and checking out all the new cool technology.

I'll also be working the expo floors, evangelizing the tablet.

What are your ideas on approaching people on the floor and showing them the tablet?

Handel's Messiah

Saw my church's peformance of Handel's Messiah last night. It was sooooo good.

I tried posting during the performance to my MSN Space and the Publish button would never get activated....

Moved from MSN Spaces...

I moved my blog from MSN Spaces. I know its' in beta, but I found the UI unstable and I couldn't post from my pocket pc.
