Hilton Locke : About that "additional testing" notation in the KB article...
This from Hilton Locke on the “conspiracy theories”:
I just heard about some conspiracy theories floating around our recent memory leak fix. Said theories revolve around the line: "Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing."
I recommend you view his post to understand that these “conspiracy theories” are pure bunk. Hilton encourages anyone to contact him if people experience ill effects due to the fix.
