Podcasting - Blog Maverick
I believe that Mark Cuban is right-on in regards to the future of Podcasting -those that are repurposing for podcasting are those who will succeed. The average Joe podcasting won't make money at it.
I think that the IT pros who Podcast are just getting another publishing medium like blogs, writing articles, etc. It'll add to your credibility , maybe provide for a few speaking engagements, but I don't see too many IT pros quitting their jobs to podcast
I believe blogs have more potential for IT Pros than podcasts. Why? The content is searchable, easy to skim, quick to do, and its' contents can spread rapidly, creating immediate buzz much more quickly than words hidden in a 50 minute podcast , whose content is usually much more dated.
