Toshiba M400 Tablet PC to be announced in two days

Toshiba will announce the successor to the M200 Tablet PC in two days with February shipping times – the M400 Tablet PC, which will become the fastest Tablet PC on the market.

Dual Core
Available with a choice of display – 1400 x 1050 or 1024 x 768
Intel GM945 integrated graphics - major Mistake
removable CD / DVD ( supports extra hard drive, not battery)
Support for thin extended battery on bottom of tablet
Built in finger print

It looks and feels thicker, but is surprisingly light. Viewing angles are really good

Picures with some comparisons to the X41 Tablet PC

Comments:
Is Toshiba switching to a different screen technology? My concern is not so much "brightness" but glare....I find screens with a glass-like surface to be very hard on my eyes, and prefer the softer appearance of most LCDs. If the new Toshibas have that high-gloss screen, I'd probably pass.

whoops...sorry about that double-post.

Integrated Graphics :(
Does anyone make a tablet with the graphic grunt to run CAD type applications? Separate decent video spec?

checkout the Toshiba Tecra M4 and the Gateway M280

Will the M400 be able to use the current M200 docking station?

I'm not sure if the m400 will support the old docking station.

Running on my memory here, but the docking connector on the back of the m400 looks different than the m200. Don't go to the bank on that, but that is what I remember.

According to Intel, and HP Compaq the Intel Graphics Card 950 is OpenGL compliant and will work with CAD programs (how well I do not know). Also, the 14.1+ size Tables come with a better card so they would be a better choice.
